The Sauk Rapids-Rice Public School District No. 47 is seeking a highly effective Instructional Coach to support teachers in delivering high-quality, standards-aligned instruction that improves student learning outcomes.
This role focuses on evidence-based practices to guide coaching, professional learning, and classroom implementation. A central priority of this position is ensuring strong alignment between curriculum, instruction, and standards across classrooms, grade levels, and schools.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Coach for instructional excellence
- Provide job-embedded coaching (co-plan, model, observe, and provide feedback)
- Support teachers in implementing:
- Clear learning goals and success criteria aligned to standards
- Explicit, engaging, and rigorous instruction
- Effective questioning and student discourse
- Ongoing monitoring of student learning
- Support the onboarding and mentoring of new teachers in our school district
- Ensure curriculum and standards align
- Support consistent implementation of district-adopted curriculum
- Promote coherence across grade levels to ensure a guaranteed and viable curriculum
- Use data to drive instruction
- Build teacher capacity
- Design and facilitate professional learning aligned to district priorities
- Support implementation of MnMTSS and district instructional initiatives
- Foster systemwide coherence
- Collaborate across buildings to ensure consistency in instructional practices
- Contribute to a shared vision of effective teaching and learning
Outstanding candidates will have:

Required Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license or relevant experience and willingness to seek a license with special permission from PELSB
- Bachelor''s Degree in relevant subject area
- Minimum 5-years of successful teaching experience
- Strong understanding of effective instructional practices and standards alignment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with coaching or teacher leadership
Contract:
1.0 FTE, 182 contract days plus 5 extra days for a total of 187 days beginning the 2026-2027 school year.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary based on the 2025-2027 Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Associations Master Agreement starting at $52,166 up to $97,326.
Benefits based on full-time employment and may be pro-rated for part-time positions. Benefits may include the following:
