Start Your Online Application Now Description: Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a dynamic 1.0 FTE School Social Worker to join the team at Eagle Creek Elementary for the 26-27 school year. Job Summary: The School Social Worker plays a key role in promoting student success by addressing social, emotional, behavioral and environmental factors that impact learning. This position involves providing direct special education services to students, resources and support for families, participation in student support and special education teams and fostering strong home-school-community partnerships. Additional duties include facilitation of 504 services in the assigned building including referral review, evaluation and accommodation plans, participation on student support teams for intervention planning, problem solving and data collection.
