2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR 7-12 Math Teacher Position St. Clair School District #ISD 75 (located 7 miles southeast of Mankato, MN) is a K-12 facility and is seeking applicants for a full-time ( 1.0 FTE) High School Mathematics Teacher. Qualifications: Candidates should be able to demonstrate versatility in and out of the classroom, with a strong academic background and previous teaching experience. Advanced degree preferred, due to CIS courses, but not mandatory as we have some flexibility in this area. Candidate should have a strong background in digital curriculum and technology will be expected as the St. Clair School District uses technology extensively to enhance the learning of all our students. Candidate must obtain Minnesota State Teaching License for 5-12 Mathematics, and a bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university. Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the High School Principal, facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, and goals. Promotes a learning environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning. Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates lesson plans into learning experiences so as to best utilize the available time for instruction. Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual student''s needs, including students with special needs; conducts individual and small group instruction as needed. Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance as required by district procedures and applicable laws. Encourages parental involvement in students'' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents. Coordinates with other professional staff members, especially within the department , to evaluate and assess curriculum, and participates in faculty meetings and committees.
