Speech Language Pathologist
POSITION DETAILS:
Hours: 8 hours/day (7:30 to 3:30)
Anticipated Start Date: August 2026
Salary and Benefits: Please consult the Master Agreement
Salary: Schedule B, page 45
Benefits: Health Insurance - district contribution towards premiums; pages 17-18; Dental Insurance - district contribution towards premiums; page 20; Life and LTD - page 20; 403b - Eligible for district contribution after 3rd year of full time employment; pages 15-16
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and write corresponding evaluation reports
- Participate in the development, review, and revision of IEPs in collaboration with teachers, families, and other team members
- Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to address students'' speech, language, fluency, and communication needs
- Consult with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate communication goals into daily routines and classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records of services, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, strategies, and home carryover activities
- Maintain positive and constructive communication with staff
- Collaborate with special education teams to support inclusive practices and student success
- Maintain and report accurate student attendance and performance records
- Collaborate effectively with school and district staff as part of a department team and other leadership committees
- Ability to adhere to due process timelines and complete individualized education plan and evaluation paperwork to guide educational programming
QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience: Master''s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
Required:
- Valid State of Minnesota Educator License in Pre K-12 Speech Language Pathologist
