Start Your Online Application Now Date of Availability: August 2026 Date Closing: Until Filled Speech Language Pathologist POSITION DETAILS: Hours: 8 hours/day (7:30 to 3:30) Anticipated Start Date: August 2026 Salary and Benefits: Please consult the Master Agreement Salary: Schedule B, page 45 Benefits: Health Insurance - district contribution towards premiums; pages 17-18; Dental Insurance - district contribution towards premiums; page 20; Life and LTD - page 20; 403b - Eligible for district contribution after 3rd year of full time employment; pages 15-16 RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and write corresponding evaluation reports Participate in the development, review, and revision of IEPs in collaboration with teachers, families, and other team members Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to address students'' speech, language, fluency, and communication needs Consult with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate communication goals into daily routines and classroom activities Maintain accurate records of services, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, strategies, and home carryover activities Maintain positive and constructive communication with staff Collaborate with special education teams to support inclusive practices and student success Maintain and report accurate student attendance and performance records Collaborate effectively with school and district staff as part of a department team and other leadership committees Ability to adhere to due process timelines and complete individualized education plan and evaluation paperwork to guide educational programming QUALIFICATIONS Training and Experience: Master''s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Required: Valid State of Minnesota Educator License in Pre K-12 Speech Language Pathologist Application Procedure: Apply online at the Delano School District Website: https://www.delano.k12.mn.us/employment For questions about the position, please contact Delano Intermediate School Principal, Katie Thompson, at 763-972-7602 x1501 or katie.thompson@delanoschools.org or Anthony Frank, Special Education Supervisor, at 763-972-7601 x 1908 or afrank@mawseco.k12.mn.us .
