Start Your Online Application Now POSITION: Social Worker/School Counselor 1.0 FTE LOCATION: Le Center PK-8/Montgomery PK-8 Tri-City United Schools serves the communities of Le Center, Lonsdale, & Montgomery STARTING DATE: 2026-2027 School Year, first day of new teacher workshop is August 25, 2026 SALARY RANGE: $45,500-$75,125 based on qualifications and years of experience Per the Tri-City United ISD 2905 Master Teacher Agreement BENEFITS: Insurance, retirement and paid time off REPORTS TO: Building Administration and Director of Special Services DATE OF POSTING: 02/20/2026 LICENSURE: MN licensure as a School Social Worker or a School Counselor QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS: Support middle school students and staff to ensure students can thrive academically and emotionally in the school environment. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create intervention strategies that address barriers to student success. Identify and connect students with family, school, and community resources to maximize their educational experience. Provide both individual and group counseling to students and their families. Act as a resource for school staff regarding the identification and reporting of child abuse or neglect. Partner with community organizations and mental health professionals to support students'' well-being. Help school staff recognize how factors in a child''s home, school, and community may influence their academic performance and behavior. Perform additional duties as needed.
