What You''ll Do Lead a class of 17?22 students through a full day of learning, exploration, and growth. Build a classroom culture rooted in respect, high expectations, and joy. Use your passion for teaching to plan and deliver effective, engaging lessons. Differentiate instruction so that every student gets what they need to thrive. Collaborate closely with support staff and fellow teachers?because we''re all in this together. Use data to make smart decisions and drive student growth. Communicate with families regularly?you''re a team. Be present. At recess, during breakfast, and in the in-between moments where real relationships are built. Qualifications Must-Haves: Licensed to teach elementary education in Minnesota (or eligible by your start date). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong willingness to participate in regular coaching opportunities with our team A desire to work with students from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Nice-to-Haves: Experience teaching in urban schools or charter settings. Background in working with English Language Learners. Fluency or proficiency in Spanish or Somali. Why Teach at NECP?
