The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is seeking new staff to lead crews of youth employees ages 14-18, including on two bike crews. This program, which has been successfully running for 40 years, continues to make a positive impact on young people in Minneapolis. We are looking for experienced youth workers who will: Provide daily supervision for a work crew of eight to ten (8-10) youth workers ages 14 ? 18. Collaborate and work outside to maintain and improve Minneapolis parks. This includes some special projects working with our carpentry and construction trades Be responsible for mentoring teenagers in a first-job experience and work alongside them using tools to accomplish tasks as assigned. What to bring: 2-3 years? experience working with youth A valid driver?s license Good to know: The schedule is Monday through Friday (7:00 a.m. ? 3:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m. ? 12:00 p.m. alternating Fridays).
