Participates and collaborates with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues, and district learning initiatives, curriculum and building issues. Specific Responsibilities: A. Ensure a safe learning environment for all students B. Provides, develops and delivers classroom instruction to student incorporating the essential elements of instruction. C. Evaluate and assess student performance. D. Plans and develops instruction and assessment in alignment with approved curriculum and district priorities. E. Establishes and maintains management in the classroom, school premises or during school activities by communicating expectations. F. Collaborates with educational professionals, administration, and parents regarding the needs of students, instructional needs, new instructional technology or approaches to student progress, learning or curriculum. G. Seeks and implements professional development. H. Other duties as assigned.
