Middle School Teacher (Literacy and Social Studies | Grades 6?8) Community of Grace Christian School Community of Grace Christian School is seeking a full-time Middle School Teacher for grades 6?8 with a focus in literacy and social studies. We are a Christ-centered school committed to partnering with families to nurture students academically, spiritually, and personally. We are looking for a dedicated, faith-filled educator who feels called to Christian education and is passionate about shaping the hearts and minds of middle school students. Position Overview The Middle School Teacher will create and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction while integrating a biblical worldview into all subject areas. This individual will foster a classroom environment that encourages academic growth, spiritual formation, and Christ-like character. Key Responsibilities Plan and teach engaging lessons that align with academic standards and reflect a biblical perspective Integrate faith into daily instruction and model Christian values in all interactions Cultivate a positive, respectful classroom environment that supports student growth and accountability Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback Communicate regularly and professionally with parents, students, and staff Build strong relationships with students, encouraging both academic success and spiritual development Maintain accurate records, including attendance and student progress Supervise students throughout the school day and during school activities Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school community events Stay current with best practices in education and Christian teaching Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Education or related field required Valid state teaching license Previous middle school teaching experience preferred A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission of Community of Grace Christian School Ability to integrate faith and learning in the classroom Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills A heart for mentoring and discipling middle school students To apply send your resume and cover letter to Heather Norman; hnorman@graceschoolwbl.org .
