Extended School Year (ESY) for EC/SR Duration: 6 Weeks Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Dates: June: 9, 10, 11 | 16, 17, 18 | 23, 24, 25 Hours: 9:00 AM ? 12:00 PM Key Responsibilities Classroom Management: Help maintain a safe, orderly environment and assist with behavioral management. Student Supervision: Oversee non-instructional areas including lunch, bus duty, playground, and field trips. Special Needs Support: Assist students with physical or mental disabilities with activities of daily living and IEP objective implementation. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of college-level coursework or passing of the NCLB examination. Prior experience with special needs children is preferred. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding student and employee information. Paraprofessionals are paid their normal rate of pay ($17.56 to $21.68) + $1.25 additional per hour + longevity if applicable.
