MATH INTERVENTION/CO-TEACHER
Rochester Beacon Academy is seeking a full time math interventionist and co-teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The Math Interventionist & Co-Teacher provides targeted math interventions to students who are performing below grade level and collaborates with the math teacher in a co-taught classroom to support differentiated instruction. This position focuses on closing achievement gaps, implementing specialized teaching strategies, and ensuring all students—particularly those with IEPs or identified learning needs—are able to access and succeed in the math curriculum.
Rochester Beacon Academy (RBA) is a 6th-12th grade charter school that places a strong emphasis on providing individualized attention to students. The school has small class sizes, allowing teachers to provide students with focused and personalized instruction. The administration and staff are dedicated to providing these students with the support and resources they need to succeed in school and beyond.
RBA has a caring and compassionate culture, with teachers and staff committed to creating a safe, joyful and inclusive learning environment. The administration places a high value on work-life balance for both students and staff, recognizing the importance of a healthy work-life balance for academic success. In addition, the school uses trauma-informed practices to support and respect students in ways that acknowledge and address the impact of past traumatic experiences. These practices help create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes emotional healing and academic success. Overall, the charter school is a small, caring educational institution that is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students, particularly those with special education needs.
