St. Mary?s Mission School is seeking an upper elementary (4 th -6 th grade) teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. St. Mary?s Mission School is a vibrant educational institution located that serves Red Lake Nation, that provides a God-centered, culture-enhancing quality Catholic education. St. Mary?s Mission School focuses on the holistic formation and education of the mind, heart, body, and spirit of children from Red Lake Nation. Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of our teachers is to actively make progress toward excellent instruction that supports our mission. Plan and teach engaging lessons in core subjects (Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies) that follow diocesan guidelines and grade-level standards while weaving in Catholic values Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and helps young learners develop foundational academic, cultural, social, and spiritual skills Partner with families through regular communication, conferences, and updates to support student growth and build a strong school-home connection Assess and document student progress through developmentally appropriate methods, adjusting instruction to meet individual learning needs Plan and lead daily prayer, religious activities, and faith-based discussions that help students understand and embrace Catholic teachings in age-appropriate ways Incorporate students? culture and the 7 Grandfather Teachings into your daily instruction Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure consistent educational approaches and maintain a positive school culture Participate actively in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school''s mission of academic excellence in a faith-filled environment located in Red Lake Nation Salary and Benefits Overview: St. Mary?s Mission School offers a competitive salary and provides a comprehensive benefits package designed.
