Assistant Principal (Grades 6-12) Catholic Community Schools (CCS) | St. Cloud, Minnesota Campus: Cathedral Middle and High School Anticipated Start Date: July 2026 Cathedral Middle and High School is seeking an Assistant Principal to help lead a strong, mission-centered school community serving students in grades 6?12. This school leadership position includes primary responsibility for student discipline, attendance and behavior systems, student programming, and the middle school experience, in collaboration with the Principal and school leadership team. The Assistant Principal also supports faculty supervision, selected academic initiatives, and the overall day-to-day life of the school. The Assistant Principal reports directly to the Principal and works closely with teachers, counselors, families, coaches, activity leaders, and fellow school leaders to support a school environment that is orderly, student-centered, and aligned with Cathedral?s Catholic mission. Primary Responsibilities Lead student discipline, behavior expectations, and restorative response processes. Help build and sustain a positive school culture marked by strong relationships, accountability, and a sense of belonging. Provide leadership for the middle school program and student experience. Oversee student programming and activities that contribute to student engagement and school community. Support the supervision and development of faculty, particularly in the middle school, in collaboration with the Principal. Assist with the implementation of academic initiatives and school improvement efforts as delegated by the Principal. Partner with the Principal and school leadership team in the coordination of daily school operations. Communicate effectively with families, students, and staff regarding student support, expectations, and school life. Qualifications Commitment to Catholic education and the ability to support and advance the Catholic mission of the school. Master?s degree required, preferably in education, educational leadership, administration, counseling, or a related field. Relevant experience in school leadership, student services, teaching, counseling, or related educational roles preferred. Minnesota administrative licensure, or the ability and willingness to obtain appropriate licensure, preferred. Compensation and Benefits Anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000?$97,000, commensurate with education and experience.
