Head Boys Wrestling Coach. Position works 20+ hours per week.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to lead our team of dedicated student-athletes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching wrestling, possess excellent leadership skills, and be committed to fostering an environment of teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
This individual will also:
- Develop and implement practice plans that improve technical skills, team strategies, and physical conditioning.
- Lead and supervise the team during practices and meets
- Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that emphasizes discipline, respect, and communication.
- Monitor athlete development and provide constructive feedback to help individuals reach their full potential.
- Coordinate team logistics and meet schedules.
- Collaborate with athletic department staff, parents, and school administration to ensure program success.
Salary:
Stipend per Teacher Contract.
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school or club level.
- Strong knowledge of wrestling techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their best performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of students, parents, and school staff.
- A positive and professional attitude that promotes teamwork, dedication, and respect.
Working Conditions:
Coaching environment.
