Duluth Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE CTE Work-BasedLearning Teacher-Coordinator for the upcoming school year to develop and provide instruction thatprepares students with the related academic critical thinking, workplace readiness, and technical skills essential to pursuing career pathways. This position collaboratively coordinates classroom work-based learningexperiences including career speakers and tours. It may assist with coordination of internships, apprenticeships, job shadows, and paid-work experiences with other licensed staff, site, and district administration. The candidate may assist with the district''s School-Based
Enterprises and help advise CTE Student Organizations as opportunities arise.
Candidates must have a current Work-Based Learning teaching endorsement (function code 160000). Candidates with a license in an additional CTE area are preferred. The Duluth Public School District provides mentoring to all early-career teachers and free paths to CTE teacher licensure for those who need assistance. This could include assistance aquring the WBL endorsement if selected candidate holds a Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Teaching License for Grades 9-12.

*This position will range in salary starting at $44,833.00-$89,347.00/ annually

Retirement
- The District contributes 7.25% of your total salary in the Public Employees Retirement Association) pension plan.
