Position Overview: HOPE Community Academy is seeking dedicated tutors to provide targeted, individualized academic support to K-12 students. Tutoring services will be data-driven, focusing on student growth as measured by FastBridge assessments. Focused on small group pull-out tutoring during regular school hours and small group tutoring after school hours. Responsibilities: Instructional Support: Provide small group tutoring based on FastBridge assessment data and identified content areas for targeted intervention Deliver individualized tutoring plans for each student based on their specific needs and FastBridge results Focus on student growth in Math, Reading, and/or Science for K-12 students) Conduct small group pull-out sessions with targeted instruction Monitor and track student progress toward FastBridge growth goals Planning and Collaboration: Dedicate 30 minutes daily for preparation, planning, and teacher consultation Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring support with classroom instruction Review and analyze FastBridge data to inform instructional strategies Adjust individualized student plans based on ongoing progress monitoring Participate in monthly staff meetings Professional Accountabilities: Maintain professional competence by attending staff development programs and other professional activities Participate in various school events and staff meetings as required Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Principal or other appropriate administrator Serve as a role model for promoting effective instruction and professionalism Qualifications: Required: Knowledge of K-12 Math, Reading, and/or Science content Experience with tutoring (required) General knowledge of child development Ability to work cooperatively with teachers, administrators, support staff, and parents Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills Preferred: Teaching license or educational background Experience working with diverse student populations Familiarity with data-driven instruction Bilingual in English and either Hmong or Karen Ability to interpret and utilize assessment data Working Environment: Duties are normally performed in a school/classroom environment; school building is a multi-level building that has an elevator and is accessible Position requires extensive interaction with children of all ages (K-12) Duties may occasionally be performed in varying locations within the school building Possible exposure to loud and noisy locations (e.g., loud classrooms or cafeterias; children speaking or laughing loudly) Note: Nothing in this job description restricts the school''s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
