St. Clair School District #ISD 75 (located 7 miles southeast of Mankato, MN) is a K-12 facility and is seeking applicants for (0 .72 FTE) Visual Art Teacher. Qualifications Strong background in a variety of art media (drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, etc.) K nowledge of age-appropriate instructional strategies for elementary through high school students Ability to integrate art history, culture, and contemporary practices into instruction Experience with or willingness to incorporate technology into art education. Candidate s must obtain Minnesota State Elementary Teaching License and a bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned visual art curriculum for students in grades K?12 Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all learners Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression Teach a wide range of artistic techniques, media, and concepts appropriate to each grade level Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback Organize and display student artwork throughout the school and at public exhibitions or events Maintain and manage art supplies, equipment, and classroom space responsibly Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance as required by district procedures and applicable laws. Encourages parental involvement in students'' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents. Coordinates with other professional staff members to evaluate and assess curriculum, and participates in faculty meetings and committees.
