Start Your Online Application Now Date of Availability: 26-27 Fall Season Date Closing: Until Filled Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Oversee all aspects of the high school Tennis program, including training, match preparation, and athlete development. Plan and conduct effective practices focused on endurance, strength, technique, and strategy. Build a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, academic success, and personal growth. Manage games, coordinate travel logistics, and communicate effectively with athletes, families, and staff. Collaborate with assistance coaches, athletic trainers, and school administrators to ensure athlete safety and program alignment with district goals. Recruit and mentor student-athletes at the high school and middle school levels to encourage program growth. Ensure compliance with MSHSL, district, and safety policies at all times. Serve as a role model and ambassador for Albert Lea Athletics within the school and community. Pay Rate: Compensation will be in accordance with Schedule C of the Teacher Master Agreement ($4,897.21/season) Qualifications: Previous coaching experience in Tennis (head or assistant) strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and staff.
