Responsibilities: The School Psychologist, under the direction of the Director of Special Services, is responsible for conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for potential special education services, including administering, scoring, and interpreting intellectual, academic, and social-emotional assessments, and communicating findings clearly through written reports and team meetings. The position involves significant consultation with teachers, administrators, and families to plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group interventions addressing students'' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. The School Psychologist also serves as an active member of the building-level Student Support Team, supporting the IEP process, informing families of their rights, maintaining accurate student records, and collaborating with community providers as needed.
