Holy Family High School Director of Music Position Overview: Holy Family High School is seeking a dynamic, creative, and mission-driven High School General Music Teacher to lead and grow a vibrant, comprehensive music program. This educator will bring expertise in both vocal and instrumental music, think innovatively about student engagement, and play a central role in shaping the future of music education within the school community. This position goes beyond the classroom?serving as a leader in liturgical music, a collaborator with partner schools, and a key contributor to the performing arts program, including musical theater. Key Responsibilities: Instruction & Program Development: Teach general music courses that incorporate both vocal and instrumental instruction Develop and implement an engaging, inclusive, and forward-thinking music curriculum Build and expand the school?s music program, including new ensembles and performance opportunities Differentiate instruction to meet the needs and interests of a diverse student body Liturgical Music Leadership: Plan and organize music for school Masses and liturgical celebrations Collaborate with campus ministry to ensure music aligns with the theme of the Mass and Liturgical season Recruit and direct student musicians and vocalists for liturgical events Co-Curricular & Community Engagement: Partner with middle school feeder programs to develop after-school co-curricular music groups Foster a strong pipeline of student musicians transitioning into the high school program Facilitate with partner schools a music PLC Organize performances, concerts, and community events that showcase student talent Coordinate the Middle School Music Fest Plan & Implement 2 Coffee Houses per year (Fall/Winter & Spring) Theater & Performing Arts Collaboration: Serve as Music Director for all school musical productions Collaborate with the theater director on auditions, rehearsals, and performances Provide vocal coaching and musical leadership for student performers Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Music Education or related field (Master?s preferred) Demonstrated proficiency in both vocal and instrumental music instruction Experience directing ensembles and/or musical productions Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Passion for building programs and engaging students in creative ways Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education Preferred Qualities: Innovative mindset with a willingness to think ?outside the box? Position Overview:

This position goes beyond the classroom—serving as a leader in liturgical music, a collaborator with partner schools, and a key contributor to the performing arts program, including musical theater.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction & Program Development:

  • Teach general music courses that incorporate both vocal and instrumental instruction
