Maple Lake High School is seeking a qualified, dynamic, and relationship-focused Head Girls Basketball Coach to lead and develop its student-athletes in grades 7?12. Position: Head Girls Basketball Coach Start Date: November 16, with summer sessions if possible Application Deadline: Open until filled Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead organized, effective practices Prepare student-athletes for competition throughout the season Oversee the Basketball program for grades 7?12 Involvement within the youth programs Coordinate or provide opportunities for summer training and development Foster a supportive, inclusive, and high-expectation team culture Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and school staff Collaborate with the Activities Office to ensure program excellence Promote academic success, leadership, and good citizenship among athletes Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and organizational skills Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the community Experience in coaching and/or competitive basketball preferred Must hold or be able to obtain a Minnesota Head Coaching License per state statute Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and Resume to: Dan Krause Activities Director Maple Lake High School Email: kraused@maplelake.k12.mn.us
