The teacher will provide an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, psychological, and social growth. Grade Level Middle School School Year 2026-2027 Time Full-Time Duration 10 Month Type Exempt Other Union Eligible Reports To School Principal Salary Discuss On Employment Responsibilities Design lesson plans with instruction to appropriate learning levels that reflect differentiation in student learning styles and abilities Use a variety of methodologies in teaching and instructing pupils, including lectures, demonstrations, discussions, lectures, and experiments. Prepares lessons that engage, and meet the individual needs and interests of students Adhere to and support a standards-based education Understand and utilize data to drive instruction. Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student performance. Maintain accurate, complete, and appropriate records. Supports Positive Behavior Interventions Supports (PBIS) Communicate, motivate, and build relationships with students Provide feedback to students and parents on a student?s progress at conferences and other meetings Actively participate in team meetings and Professional Learning Communities Integrate technology and media as appropriate to teach lessons that engage students and further enhance their knowledge. Value teaching in diverse cultural settings. Is a forward, solutions-based thinker. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications The minimum of a Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited college or university. A valid Minnesota Teacher''s License (applicable level-area endorsements preferred). Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience.
