This course provides a unique opportunity to create an engaging learning experience that inspires curiosity, problem-solving, and out-of-the-box thinking. The teacher will have flexibility with curriculum design, encouraging creativity and student-led discovery while maintaining alignment with science standards. This position is more than just teaching science?it?s about creating a classroom experience students will never forget. Collaborate with grade-level teachers to align learning goals and support cross-curricular connections. Foster a classroom culture that emphasizes respect, teamwork, perseverance, and a love of learning. Assess student growth through a variety of authentic methods (projects, discussions, portfolios, etc.). Use the Catalyst Approach to maintain a healthy learning environment for the students both academically and socially. Provide feedback to students and parents on a student?s progress at conferences and other meetings as necessary. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor''s Degree in Elementary Education from an accredited college or university. A valid Minnesota Teacher''s License (applicable level-area endorsements preferred).
