This course provides a unique opportunity to create an engaging learning experience that inspires curiosity, problem-solving, and out-of-the-box thinking. The teacher will have flexibility with curriculum design, encouraging creativity and student-led discovery while maintaining alignment with science standards. Create an environment that promotes exploration, experimentation, and curiosity. Incorporate project-based learning, STEAM activities, and real-world problem solving. Design lessons that integrate critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. Provide opportunities for students to learn through inquiry, investigation, and reflection. Collaborate with grade-level teachers to align learning goals and support cross-curricular connections. Foster a classroom culture that emphasizes respect, teamwork, perseverance, and a love of learning. Assess student growth through a variety of authentic methods (projects, discussions, portfolios, etc.). Use the Catalyst Approach to maintain a healthy learning environment for the students both academically and socially. Provide feedback to students and parents on a student?s progress at conferences and other meetings as necessary. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor''s Degree in Elementary Education from an accredited college or university. A valid Minnesota Teacher''s License (applicable level-area endorsements preferred). Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience. Teaching experience in diverse cultural settings is valued.
