Start Your Online Application Now Job Title : CEIS Coordinator (.7 FTE) Reports To : Special Education Director FTE: 0.7 (approximately 28 hours per week) Salary: $56,000 (0.7 FTE) - $80k (1.0 FTE) to $70,000 (0.7FTE) - $100k(1.0FTE) This position offers a competitive full-time equivalent salary of $80,000-$100,000. The role is 0.7 FTE, and compensation will be pro-rated to $56,000 to $70,000, along with pro-rated benefits. Position Summary Under the general direction of the Executive/Special Education Director or designee, the Coordinator of Early Intervening Services will be responsible for planning, organizing, and developing districtwide multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), including the development of the following domains: Family & Student Engagement, Social Emotional Learning & Relationships, Mental & Physical Health, Attendance & Intervention Monitoring, Positive Behavioral Supports & Restorative Justice, Academic Supports, and Basic Needs. This position will provide direction, guidance, and leadership to staff as it relates to equity and cultural responsiveness. Key Responsibilities: ? Support and review evidence-based intervention strategies aligned with district frameworks on a monthly basis ? Collect data from the teams monitoring student progress regularly and maintain accurate data records ? Collaborate with general education teachers to support differentiation and intervention planning on a monthly basis ? Assist in identifying students in need of CEIS supports using screening and assessment data ? Participate in problem-solving teams, student support meetings, and data reviews on a monthly basis ? Adjust interventions based on student response and data analysis through the monthly team collaborations ? Support behavior intervention plans as needed and reviewed monthly with teams. ? Support staff with communication regarding student progress ? Maintain compliance with federal and state CEIS requirements and documentation ? Grant writing and reporting ? Monthly visits can be in person or virtual depending on the need Additional Responsibilities for Identified Districts ? PD related to MTSS ? Twice /month visits and check ins ? NLC and Nett Lake support as the Literacy Lead and READ Act requirements Qualifications Required: ? Bachelor''s degree in Education or related field ? Experience working with elementary and/or secondary students in an educational setting ? Valid teaching license Preferred: ? Master''s degree in Education or related field ? Experience with intervention programs and progress monitoring tools ? Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ? Strong understanding of instructional strategies and interventions ? Ability to analyze student data and make instructional decisions ? Effective collaboration and communication skills ? Strong organizational and time-management abilities ? Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff This position is funded through CEIS and is focused on early intervention services. The role does not replace special education services but is designed to reduce the need for special education referrals through proactive support.
