Valley View Elementary (Serving grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade) Vacancy Posting #4435 Major Responsibilities: The Valley View Principal works under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools to perform complex professional work. Duties include, but are not limited to, developing and maintaining effective educational programs consistent with philosophies, policies and goals of the School Board and state and federal guidelines. The principal provides continuous leadership and management of the Valley View staff, students and programs. The principal ensures student safety, engages in public relations and community outreach and related work as apparent or assigned. Salary Range $120,007-$158,602 (2024-2025 salary range). Position is a 1.0 FTE (benefit eligible). Position is 221 duty days/year. Qualifications: K-12 Principal License Required Principal experience preferred The successful candidate must: have proven leadership skills, experience closing the achievement gap, experience building equity for all students, experience implementing college and career ready strategies, and skilled in design and implementation of programming.
