Job Responsibilities Supervision & Safety Supervise children at all times to ensure a safe and healthy environment Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations Enforce program policies and safety procedures Program Implementation Implement and adapt activities based on provided guidelines Support children''s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Maintain structured and engaging programming Child Interaction Interact positively using developmentally appropriate practices Provide guidance, encouragement, and individualized support Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment Communication Communicate effectively with children, staff, parents, and administrators Maintain confidentiality Build and sustain positive professional relationships Daily Operations Assist with snack preparation and cleanup Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe program space Support overall site operations as needed Qualifications & Skills Education: High school diploma or GED required Experience: Previous childcare or school-age program experience preferred (not required) Skills & Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Leadership and problem-solving abilities Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Hastings ISD 200 uses the applicant tracking system from Frontline Education to manage employment applications online
