POSITION: Esports Head Coach SUMMARY Maranatha Christian Academy is an influential school of collaborators, innovators, and explorers grounded in Christian faith, and empowering co-creators of tomorrow. The head coach will build a program with a solid foundation that teaches student-athletes technical and tactical skills along with other valuable life skills through competition. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the athletic department to schedule practices. Work with Fenworks on the logistics of the program and competitions. Schedule an interest meeting. Connect with students to build the program. Organize spiritual development plans for the season. Determine a tryout plan and how the team will be selected. Create team contact lists and maintain communication with families throughout the season. Communicate weekly with the athletic director. Have athletes complete goal sheets and meet with athletes regularly. Coach athletes during practices and prepare them for competition. Send team results, news, and pictures to the athletic department. Attend the annual coaching staff meeting. Keep inventory of equipment and order new equipment if needed. Communicate any updates to your team webpage. Submit an end of season report to the athletic director. Attend a post-season meeting with the athletic director. Click here to apply .
