This unique 1.0 FTE opportunity allows an educator to build strong programming across two supportive southeastern Minnesota districts while helping students develop real-world career and life skills. The ideal candidate will inspire students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences connected to tourism, entrepreneurship, culinary arts, hospitality, nutrition, personal finance, career readiness, and family and consumer sciences pathways. Possible Course Areas Course offerings may include: Foods and Nutrition Culinary Arts Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurship and Small Business Personal Finance and Consumer Education Career Exploration Child Development and Family Studies Life Skills and Independent Living Work-Based Learning Opportunities Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned to Minnesota academic and career pathway standards Create authentic learning experiences connected to community and workforce opportunities Foster strong relationships with students, families, businesses, and community partners Support career and college readiness through hands-on projects and experiential learning Collaborate with staff across both districts to strengthen programming opportunities for students Maintain a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment Utilize technology and innovative instructional practices to support student engagement and achievement Preferred Qualifications Minnesota teaching license in Family and Consumer Science or related field Experience or interest in culinary arts, hospitality, tourism, entrepreneurship, or career and technical education Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Passion for helping students connect learning to future careers and life opportunities Ability to build partnerships with local businesses and community organizations Why Join Our Schools?
