This position includes teaching English Language Arts courses designed to strengthen students'' literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills. There is potential for this position to expand to a full-time role for candidates who hold additional K?12 licensure and are qualified to teach in another content area or elective. The ideal candidate will foster an engaging, inclusive classroom environment and support student growth through meaningful instruction and positive relationships. Responsibilities Plan and deliver effective Communication/Language Arts instruction aligned with Minnesota Academic Standards Develop lessons that promote reading comprehension, writing proficiency, communication skills, and critical thinking Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners Assess and monitor student progress while providing timely feedback to students and families Integrate technology and innovative instructional practices into the classroom Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration Participate in professional development and school activities Qualifications Valid Minnesota teaching license in Communication Arts/Literature Additional K?12 licensure preferred for consideration of a full-time role Strong knowledge of best practices in literacy instruction Excellent communication and classroom management skills Commitment to equity and meeting the needs of diverse learners Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching secondary English Language Arts Additional licensure in a K?12 content area or elective Experience with interdisciplinary or project-based learning Experience implementing culturally responsive teaching practices CIS English Certification preferred Compensation and Benefits Salary based on education and experience per the master agreement Salary Range: $46,749 ? $89,650 (prorated based on FTE) Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, retirement, and paid leave (prorated based on FTE) Additional Opportunities Coaching opportunities are also available within the district. Qualifications

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license in Communication Arts/Literature
  • Additional K–12 licensure preferred for consideration of a full-time role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching secondary English Language Arts
  • Additional licensure in a K–12 content area or elective

  • CIS English Certification preferred

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary based on education and experience per the master agreement
  • Salary Range: $46,749 – $89,650 (prorated based on FTE)
