The ideal candidate will provide engaging, standards-based instruction aligned to Minnesota Academic Standards in Physical Education and Health, while fostering lifelong wellness, teamwork, and healthy decision-making skills. Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Physical Education and Health. Active and current state of MN PE and Health teaching license. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Experience preferred with, Teaching PE in a middle school setting. College preparatory rigor in a middle school setting. A classical model of education or a liberal arts college education. Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Passionate about working with middle schoolers and creating a positive learning environment Candidates must be committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
