The individual hired for this position will assist in the office and perform requested tasks as directed by the Activities Director; schedule event workers, school-only events and practice schedules; work with scheduling of Wright County Conference activities; code, copy, and record all activity expenses, monitor budget and report discrepancies. Hours are somewhat flexible depending on the week''s activities and may include some weekend and/or evening dates. Pay: $19.78 - 24.07 Benefits: Benefits package includes District contribution towards Health, Dental, Life, Vision, 403b, and Long Term Disability Insurance. Requirements include: High level of organizational skills, effective people skills (communication with students and adults), must be a team player, possess outstanding writing skills, strong computer skills, financial/accounting and budget experience; must be flexible, accessible, and confidential; and must have knowledge of or experience with athletics/fine arts activities. One or more years of secretarial experience is preferred; knowledge of Microsoft Word and extensive experience with Excel spreadsheets is required. Occasional lifting of 10 to 20 pounds or more may be required. A high school diploma is required for all GSL employees. The school district requires applicants for school district positions who receive an offer of employment to submit to a criminal history background check.
