POSITION DETAILS: TCU staff work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, focusing on preparing students for college, careers, and life. This position will play a crucial role in advancing our mission: The TCU community is dedicated to ensuring ALL MEANS ALL. Under direction of the Licensed School Nurse (LSN), provide first aid for ill or injured students; distribute prescribed medication to students; communicate health related issues to parents and perform clerical functions related to record keeping and other general health office functions. This position follows the TCU student school calendar. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS: The person in this position is responsible for managing daily student health office intake, first aid and care, medication administration, data entry and health information maintenance. The Health Aide will support student learning by assisting with school health programs and services, providing health education, and evaluating health needs specific to their assigned building.
