Job Goal: To deliver engaging and rigorous instruction in mathematics, but will also help students perceive and delight in the mathematical order woven into the created world. Through the study of number, pattern, proportion, and logical structure, the teacher will guide students to recognize mathematics as a path to truth, one that reflects the intelligibility, beauty, and coherence of creation. Candidates should inspire students to think critically, reason carefully, and solve problems with clarity and perseverance, while fostering an appreciation for mathematics. The teacher will cultivate a classroom environment that emphasizes precision of language, depth of understanding, and intellectual wonder, supporting students in their growth both academically and personally in light of the school?s Catholic mission.
