Director of Academic Support (K?12) Liberty Classical Academy is a Christ-centered, classical Preschool?12th grade private school with campuses in White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. We are seeking a highly skilled, mission-driven educator to serve as our Director of Academic Support (K?12). This leadership role is responsible for developing and overseeing academic support systems that serve students across all grade levels. The Director of Academic Support plays a key role in ensuring that students with diverse learning needs are supported while maintaining the academic rigor and classical framework of the school. This position is ideal for an experienced Learning Specialist who is passionate about student growth, teacher collaboration, and building strong academic support structures within a Christ-centered educational environment. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Degree in Special Education required (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Learning Specialist or Special Education professional
  • Experience supporting students in both elementary and/or secondary settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of intervention strategies, differentiated instruction, and academic support systems
  • Orton-Gillingham training preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Strong commitment to student growth and academic excellence
  • Commitment to integrating a Christian worldview into educational practice
  • Agreement with Liberty Classical Academy’s Statement of Faith

Compensation & Benefits
