Director of Academic Support (K?12) Liberty Classical Academy is a Christ-centered, classical Preschool?12th grade private school with campuses in White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. We are seeking a highly skilled, mission-driven educator to serve as our Director of Academic Support (K?12). This leadership role is responsible for developing and overseeing academic support systems that serve students across all grade levels. The Director of Academic Support plays a key role in ensuring that students with diverse learning needs are supported while maintaining the academic rigor and classical framework of the school. This position is ideal for an experienced Learning Specialist who is passionate about student growth, teacher collaboration, and building strong academic support structures within a Christ-centered educational environment. Liberty Classical Academy ? White Bear Lake & Hugo Campuses (MN) Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee K?12 academic support services across both campuses Develop and implement systems to support students with diverse learning needs Collaborate with teachers to design and implement effective student support strategies Provide consultation, coaching, and resources for classroom teachers Coordinate and support intervention plans for students requiring additional academic assistance Oversee documentation and communication related to student learning support Support assessment, progress monitoring, and data-informed instructional planning Partner with administrators, teachers, and families to ensure student success Provide or coordinate direct academic interventions as needed Ensure alignment of learning support services with the school?s classical Christian philosophy Contribute to faculty training and professional development in learning support strategies Qualifications Degree in Special Education required (Bachelor?s or Master?s degree) Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Learning Specialist or Special Education professional Experience supporting students in both elementary and/or secondary settings preferred Strong knowledge of intervention strategies, differentiated instruction, and academic support systems Orton-Gillingham training preferred but not required Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators Strong commitment to student growth and academic excellence Commitment to integrating a Christian worldview into educational practice Agreement with Liberty Classical Academy?s Statement of Faith Compensation & Benefits Salary: $60,000+ Commensurate with experience and leadership qualifications Job Type: Full-time, reduced summer hours Benefits include: 403(b) retirement plan with employer match Health and dental insurance options Paid time off Tuition discount for enrolled students Childcare discount Professional development opportunities How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to apply online using the link below: Apply here: Employment Application Applicants should be prepared to upload: Cover letter Resume To learn more about Liberty Classical Academy, please visit www.libertyclassicalacademy.org
