Summary The School Counselor will provide comprehensive counseling services to students, addressing their academic, career, personal, and social development. The ideal candidate will be proactive, student-focused, and able to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and the community. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Counselor to join our team and support our students'' growth and success. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to students. Develop and implement programs to support students'' academic, career, personal, and social development. Assist students with academic planning and goal setting. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs. Conduct classroom guidance lessons on various topics such as bullying prevention, social skills, and career exploration. Provide crisis intervention and support. Maintain accurate and confidential student records. Participate in the development and implementation of school-wide programs and initiatives. Advocate for students'' well-being and success. Qualifications: Valid Minnesota School Counselor license. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents. Experience in a school setting is preferred. Knowledge of counseling theories, practices, and ethical standards.
