Qualifications: Ability to work as part of an educational team, including consulting with and coordinating with special education staff and general education teachers Experience in school setting and/or previous experience working with children Excellent communication skills with students, parents and staff Knowledge and experience identifying Assistive Technology needs and resources Responsibilities: Identify the needs of assigned students with disabilities through formal and informal assessments Plan, develop and implement appropriate lessons to ensure the achievement of student growth Communicate with students, parents and staff on regular basis on student progress Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust therapy strategies Update all necessary records accurately as required by laws, district policies and school regulations Attend department, school and parent meetings or functions Serve as district resource for Assistive Technology needs Other job-related duties as assigned Salary and Benefits: Salary : Salary and benefits part of the Teacher Master Contract. Minimum Requirements:
