Area Special Education Cooperative (ASEC) is proud to serve 11 member school districts in northwestern Minnesota. The cooperative supports Ada-Borup-West, Climax-Shelly, East Grand Forks, Fertile-Beltrami, Fisher, Fosston, Red Lake County Central, Red Lake Falls, Stephen-Argyle Central, Warren-Alvarado-Oslo, and Win-E-Mac. POSITION SUMMARY: The Area Special Education Cooperative is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Speech-Language Pathologist to support birth?3 early intervention services through Part C. The Speech-Language Pathologist will participate in referral, identification, evaluation, assessment, service planning, and direct service delivery in collaboration with ASEC Early Childhood Special Education Teachers, families, and early childhood team members. Speech-language services for infants and toddlers are provided through a family-centered, routines-based approach within natural environments, including home and community settings. The Speech-Language Pathologist supports the communication, speech, language, social interaction, oral-motor, feeding, and early learning needs of young children while coaching parents, caregivers, and providers to embed strategies into everyday routines. 0.4 FTE long-term (16 hour per week) Substitute Assignment Agreement through January 2027 Competitive compensation based on level of education and full years of licensed experience . SALARY RANGE: $43,097 ? $90,145/annually based on 1.0 FTE. Salary for this position will be prorated based on 0.4 FTE and number of contract days to fulfill long term sub assignment. Eligible benefits, if any, will be determined based on employee classification, assignment length, scheduled hours, FTE, ASEC policy, and applicable state and federal requirements. Positions of 0.50 FTE or less are not eligible for benefits. Mileage provided at current Internal Revenue Service rate. MAIN AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Communicate with families and team members in a professional, timely, and supportive manner

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field

  • Current Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or ability to obtain

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
