Qualifications/Degree: Minnesota Teaching License: Science 5-8 and/or Mathematics 5-8, other licenses could be considered depending upon the candidate''s qualifications. Position Summary: This position will teach a STEAM Exploratory class at Stewartville Middle School. The curriculum will explore multiple components of STEAM Education including: Engineer Design Process Electricity-Solar Suitcase Accessibility Coding/AI Rockets Space Capsules Parachutes Lego Robotics Scale Models Hydroponics Special Job Requirements: Within federal and state law and regulations and district policies and practice: Responsible for the management of the instructional program and assigned students. Responsible for establishing and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning within the classroom and assisting in the same throughout the building. Responsible for the assessment of student progress. Responsible for ensuring the Minnesota State Standards are met. Responsible for other duties as assigned by the building principal which are necessary to fulfill the basic function of the position and are consistent with the Master Agreement. Beginning Salary Range: As per the Stewartville United Educators'' Master Agreement Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
