Our district is located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves approximately 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12). Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 1:30pm (Full-time during the school year) Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Nutritional Services, the Head Cook is responsible for coordinating building food production operations and food service staff engaged in the handling; serving; preparation; storage and cleaning of food items and meals for students in accordance with health and safety rules and district policies and procedures at an assigned site Qualifications: A High School diploma or GED is required. Experience in a Production Kitchen is preferred.
