Start Your Online Application Now Description: Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a 1.0 FTE Special Education ASD Center-Based Long-Term Substitute (LTS) to join the amazing team at Jackson Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. Job Summary: Deliver direct and indirect special education services to students in the areas of academic and social, emotional, communication and behavior skills in an ASD classroom setting, monitor progress on IEP goals and objectives; follow due process and IEP procedures and manage the paperwork; communicate effectively with families and staff; develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans, direct the work of paraprofessional(s). Provide instruction in content area in accordance with each student''s ability, create a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establish effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.
