McGregor Public Schools is seeking applications for a full-time High School Special Education Teacher starting with the 2026-2027 school year. The Special Education Teacher is knowledgeable about behavior management and has an understanding of diverse learning needs. Effective strategies for supporting students with academic and behavioral challenges in collaboration with other educational professionals, parents, and administrators. Current Minnesota Teacher license is required. Preference to Special Education licensure in the areas of ABS, DCD, or another subject and willing to get an out of field license if needed. McGregor ISD #4 is a stable, financially sound school district with high staff retention rates that is located between Duluth and Brainerd. McGregor serves approximately 410 Pre-K-12th grade students which allows us to have small class sizes. McGregor is a beautiful area that has many outdoor recreational opportunities including boating, fishing, hunting, ATV, and bike trails. McGregor belongs to the Northern Lights Special Education Cooperative that is very willing to support a new teacher in this area. Salary Range: $47,150 - $81,213 (based on current master agreement salary schedule).
