Start Your Online Application Now Date of Availability: 08/24/2026 POSITION: ELEMENTARY MEDIA SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION: O namia Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and highly energetic Elementary Media Specialist Teacher. This position will provide information and technology literacy skills instruction to lead, collaborate, and consult with classroom teachers for the purpose of integrating information and technology literacy skills with content teaching, and to administer media center operations, programming, and resources. Qualified candidates should have a strong background in implementing researched-based instructional strategies related to digital literacy and technology, equity/diversity and meeting the needs of unique learners through engaging lessons. Successful candidates should also be creative and have both good communication and problem solving skills. The Onamia School District is located along the south shore of beautiful Lake Mille Lacs and is just one and a half hours north of Minneapolis on highway 169.
