Glencoe-Silver Lake School District is seeking an Early Childhood Learning Center Director located at Lincoln Elementary in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Position Summary
Under general direction, the Early Childhood Learning Center Director oversees the Early Childhood Education programs and provides leadership to ensure high-quality educational experiences for children and families. The Director is responsible for recruiting, hiring and evaluating personnel, promoting the program, handling public relations, scheduling classes, and coordinating events. The Director will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements and safety standards while promoting a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for children and staff. The director is also responsible for preparing, maintaining, and monitoring the ECFE and SR departmental budget and seeking out appropriate grant opportunities. Candidates should have leadership experience, outstanding customer service skills, and a passion for early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota Early Childhood Teaching License.
- Minnesota Principal License or equivalent will be considered
- Bachelor''s degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field
- Three (3) or more years of related professional experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties is preferred
Salary range from 50,000-75,000. Pending qualification, experience, and licensure. District will work with candidate on contract length and number of days worked.

Occasional lifting of 10 to 20 pounds may be required. The school district requires applicants for school district positions who receive an offer of employment to submit to a criminal history background check.
