Start Your Online Application Now Position: Long Term Substitute - Special Education Start Date: 8/24/2026 End Date: estimated 12/22/2026 Job Summary: Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School is seeking a Long Term Substitute in the area of Special Education. This individual will work with students with various disabilities. This individual will work with a team of Special Education teachers to carry out individualized instruction in the areas of academics (reading, writing, math, etc), social/emotional learning, behavior regulation, and functional skills. This individual must have strong communication and leadership skills, as well as a strong passion and commitment to work with students. This individual will work closely with colleagues to implement specialized instruction across a continuum of service. The individual will also work with general education teachers and paraprofessionals to ensure accommodations and modifications are being implemented through lessons, activities, assignments, and tests. Qualifications: All Special Education teaching licenses considered.
