The candidate should have the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. The candidate should have strong literacy and numeracy skills, the ability to collaborate within a team setting, and a positive working relationship with students. Candidates will be teaching in an Arts Magnet School and infusing the arts into the core curriculum. Meet and collaborate with classroom teachers and interventionists to discuss how to best meet the needs of the students on your caseload Gather screening/diagnostic information through a variety of formats: FAST Benchmarking Assessments, FAST Progress Monitoring Assessments, Decoding Inventories, and structured literacy assessments Create prescriptive lessons designed to support and grow students at and beyond their literacy levels Adhere to science of reading, evidence-based instruction Qualifications: An appropriate license issued by the State of Minnesota is required.
