The School Nurse facilitates and promotes health and safety; intervenes with actual and potential health problems; performs health care assessments, interventions and develops individual health care plans; administers medications; performs prescribed treatment; provides case management services and collaborates with other professionals to address student health needs. Qualifications: Current Licensed School Nurse licensure (RN/LSN) Bachelor of Science in Nursing Certification in CPR and First Aid Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills Ability and interest in working with students of all ages Must possess academic skills for age level to be served Must possess good organizational skills Ability to work in a team approach Albert Lea Area Schools uses the applicant tracking system from Frontline Education to manage employment applications online
