Musical Theatre History ? Vocal Technique ? Repertoire Development ? Audition Preparation ? Dance for Musical Theatre ? Character Analysis ? Scene Work ? Piano Skills for Musical Theatre Performers ? Arts-Based Humanities Courses Technical Training Expectations Candidates must demonstrate the ability to train students through structured progression from beginning through advanced levels. SPCPA courses must include: ? Acting ? Singing ? Movement ? Storytelling ? Musical interpretation ? Character development ? Audition preparation ? Professional performance practices Candidates should be prepared to submit sample syllabi, rubrics, scope and sequence documents, and evidence of student achievement. Multi-Disciplinary Expertise Candidates with expertise in theatre, vocal music, piano, dance, directing, choreography, creative writing or arts-based humanities courses are strongly encouraged to apply.
