School Year: 2026–2027
Salary Range: $48,701 – $77,022 (based on education and experience)

Northome School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary Special Education Teacher/Interventionist for the 2026–2027 school year. This position provides an opportunity to inspire students to reach their full potential through individualized instruction and specialized support within a supportive and community-focused school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of elementary students.
Provide targeted academic interventions in reading, mathematics, and social-emotional learning.
Assess and monitor student progress toward IEP goals and academic benchmarks.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment that fosters student growth.
Collaborate with staff, administrators, and the community to support student well-being.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License.
Experience teaching or providing interventions at the elementary level.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive educational environments.
Licensure in multiple areas is preferred.
