Purpose The District Office Support Associate provides administrative, clerical, accounting, and human resources support to ensure the efficient operation of the District Office. This position performs a wide range of support functions, including maintaining records and databases, assisting with payroll and financial processes, supporting human resources operations, preparing reports, coordinating information systems, and providing customer service to staff, families, and community members. Essential Functions Administrative and Operational Support Support the daily operations of the District Office through administrative and clerical functions. Maintain records, reports, and district documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Provide professional customer service and communication support to staff, families, and community members. Assist with special projects and operational needs as assigned. Human Resources and Finance Support Support the daily operations of the district''s human resources and business office functions. Maintain records, reports, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality. Provide responsive customer service and support to district staff. Assist with department projects, communications, and operational needs. General Responsibilities Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community members. Attend meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as assigned. Support district initiatives and organizational goals. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency with computers, databases, and office software applications. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Preferred Associate degree or post-secondary training in business, office administration, accounting, human resources, or a related field. Experience in administrative support, bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, human resources, or office management. Experience working with financial, payroll, student, or human resource information systems. Experience working in a school district or public-sector environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of office procedures, administrative support practices, and basic accounting and payroll functions. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities. Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and solve problems effectively. Working Conditions Work is primarily performed in an office environment with frequent interaction with employees, students, families, and community members. The position requires prolonged periods of computer use, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
