Northome School Location: Northome, Minnesota Position Type: Full-Time School Year: 2026?2027 Hourly Range: $31,500 to $40,320 (based on education and experience) Application Deadline: Open Until Filled Make a Difference in the Lives of Students Northome School is seeking a dedicated, flexible, and student-centered District-Wide Substitute Teacher to join our team for the 2026?2027 school year. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction, maintain a positive learning environment, and support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students. Key Responsibilities Substitute in classrooms as needed on a daily basis or perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by administration. Deliver daily instruction aligned with district curriculum, state standards, and established lesson plans. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement and achievement. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance as required. Collaborate with staff, administrators, and the community to support student well-being. Preferred Qualifications Valid Minnesota Teaching License, Substitute Teaching License or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Adaptable and flexible to varied grade levels and subjects.
